Dr. Stacy Blum was born and raised in Nebraska. She completed her undergraduate studies at Wayne State College, her medical training at the University of Nebraska and her residency in Mason City, Iowa, through the University of Iowa.

Dr. Blum enjoys patients of all ages, but especially enjoys getting to know her patients and their families. She enjoys watching and guiding them through the various stages of life. Personal areas of interest include watching her children grow, water sports, exercise, travel and being outdoors.

Dr. Jessica K. Leibhart has joined our robust family medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecoloy team at Nebraska City Medical Clinic. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicne and attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dr. DeFreece was born and raised in Tecumseh. He completed his undergraduate studies at Nebraska Wesleyan University, his medical training at the University of Kansas in Wichita and his residency at the Lincoln Family Practice Program in Lincoln.

Dr. DeFreece enjoys patients of all ages, but especially enjoys getting to know his patients and helping to promote health for everyone. Personal areas of interest include watching and coaching his children in their activities, golf, being outdoors and traveling.

Dr. Brett Meyer was raised in Deshler, a rural farming community in south-central Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and attended medical school and residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. At UNMC, his residency included the Advanced Rural Training Program which provided an extra training to conduct C-Sections (OB/GYN), colonoscopies and EGDS at CHI Health St. Mary’s.

Dr. Meyer enjoys patients in all stages of life, but especially children and families. In his free time, he enjoys time with his wife and two young children as well as golfing, hunting, woodworking and farming.

Dr. Rademacher was born in Loup City and was raised on a farm. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, his medical training at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and his residency at Bryan Hospital in Lincoln.

Dr. Rademacher especially enjoys geriatric medicine, as well as all areas of family medicine. Personal areas of interest include photography and video projects, activities with family and friends, church activities and participating in sports like golf and tennis.

Dr. Stelling was born in Golden Valley, Minnesota, and raised in Wakefield, Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, his medical training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and his residency at the Lincoln Medical Education Foundation in Lincoln. He has been a physician in Nebraska City since moving here in 1995.

Dr. Stelling currently works as an emergency room physician at CHI Health St. Mary’s. He also serves as Medical Director for Nebraska City Medical Clinic and is the Chief Medical Officer for CHI Health St. Mary’s. His personal areas of interest include golf, bridge, games and movies.

Dr. Vasa was born and raised in Lincoln. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, his medical training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and his residency at Clarkson Family Medicine in Omaha.

Dr. Vasa’s personal areas of interest include spending time with his family, sports, playing basketball, volleyball and golf, computers, reading and coaching youth.

Samantha Barnhart was born in Chicago and raised in Nebraska City. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and her medical training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Samantha enjoys patients of all ages, but especially enjoys women’s health, pediatrics and acute care. Personal areas of interest include triathalons, fishing, boating, and spending time with her family.

Doug Langemeier provides emergency medical services at St. Mary’s Community Hospital. He was born in Fremont and raised in Mead. Doug completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and his medical training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

He worked in family practice and emergency medicine for his first 11 years, but now works primarily in the emergency room. Personal areas of interest include family time, church involvement, being an adult leader for the Nebraska City Fellowship of Christian Athletes, camping, skiing, hunting and fishing.

Michael Sebek was born in Crete and raised in Wilber. He completed his undergraduate studies at Nebraska Wesleyan University and his medical training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Mike enjoys patients of all ages, but especially enjoys pediatrics, orthopaedics and sports medicine. Personal areas of interest incldue athletics, outdoors, coaching youth sports and spending time with his family.

Riki Rutz is from Cortland, Nebraska. She completed her undergraduate studies at Creighton University and her medical training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She practiced family medicine in Omaha prior to working at the Nebraska City Medical Clinic.

Riki enjoys working with patients of all ages, especially women’s health and families. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities and running.

Allison Weddle earned a Master of Nursing degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She worked as a registered nurse in medical and surgical services; labor and delivery; and the emergency room for four years at CHI Health St. Mary’s in Nebraska City. After becoming a nurse practitioner, Allison worked with geriatric patients, providing primary care at skilled nursing facilities. Allison enjoys camping and spending time with her four children and husband.

Kristin Miller was born in Scottsbluff and raised in Nebraska City. She earned her Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner from the University of Nebraska Medical Center specializing in family practice. Prior to this, she worked as a registered nurse for 20 years mostly at St. Mary’s where she worked in labor and delivery, surgery, ER, and med-surg.

Kristin enjoys patients of all ages but especially enjoys pediatrics and women’s health. Her personal interests include spending time with family, watching her children’s activities, reading, golf and travel.
